For lunch today we went for Sushi! This sushi restaurant, however, was unique. When we first arrived, we were assigned seat numbers and clipboards. Each seat included an Ipad type device with multiple pages of sushi options and mostly included English descriptions and pictures!
We could each order up to 3 plates at a time. Each plate cost about 100 yen or $1.
Once your order was submitted, you waited and then your plate arrived on conveyer belts and stopped in front of each individual seat.
A small sampling of the dishes we ordered.
Shrimp Tempura
What a fun date-lunch!
Sushi plates, round two!
Holding box for the clipboards. You can see here, most of the seats in the restaurant are taken!
Our clipboards ... in the end, these weren't really used for anything.
After lunch we walked to the time's square of Tokyo.
It was large, and full of giant TVs and various advertisements.
Hey there!
As we approached the end of a LONG day with lots of walking ... both kiddos convinced an adult friend to give them a lift.
