Our days in Germany began with breakfast at Merkur. Their fancy coffee maker was an eternal effort in trail and error. Hubby removed his coffee cup before any coffee made it in multiple times. It seems the machine likes to fill the cup with milk. Wait ... wait ... wait ... then begin dispensing espresso.
Wifey actually gave up, and starting making coffee in a tea carafe so as not to overflow the cups.
A selection of cheeses and cold meats:
Bacon, some kind of sausage link, and beans:
Scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, and scrambled egg with some sort of additive.
French Toast, Omlet, and Panckaes!
Laundry Tokens:
Getting ready to do some European Laundry! Everything is fancier in Europe ... cough cough!
Finding the laundry facilities in the hotel was a MESS. You had to go up to the second floor, through a maze and then back down to the basement. But we survived!

Laundry complete, we chose to set out for Frankfurt for the evening!
We were so excited to drive into town and see this nifty building ....
and street signs pointing the way to what was CLEARLY a cool tourist destination!
After finding FRONT ROW parking ... we walked up to a locked door with dire warnings ... a guard eventually joined the paper warnings and shared with us that no visitors are allowed ... only engineers .... But Hubby IS an Engineer! So we're good, right!? Alas ... no tour of the radio tower for us!
The local Carhartt store ... where no kidding Carhartt overalls were laid out on tables like couture clothing items.
Hmmm ... what a pretty picture ... I wonder what this is for ....
oh .... because I guess, every toilet needs a decorative sticker on the lid~?

In case it shows ... We Are Tired! We have one full day of exploring Europe left before traveling home for a whirlwind week-o-work!
