Friday night for dinner we enjoyed eating at what google describes as a "down home cooking restaurant", Casa Mia La Cucina Contadina. As you'll see more of tomorrow, Hobby saved the day with his creative parking skills, ensuring we had only a hundred meters or so walk to eat.
Wifey started with meatballs in tomato sauce. She'd assumed this came with pasta. It did not, but was delicious!
Hubby started with fried eggplant balls. While these did taste good, Wifey couldn't get over the 'look'.
Wifey's main course was Beef Jowl and potatoes. It was excellent, and she's still sad the left-overs were lost along our trip to Roma. :(
Hubbies main course was a green sauced pasta. He ate it, wifey was not impressed.
